Yesterday RBI board has accepted Bimal Jalan panel's recommendations and has decided that the reserve bank will transfer over 1.76 lakh core to the government this year - this includes a dividend of 1.2 lakh crore rupees. This also includes a onetime transfer of 52 thousand crore rupees.
